Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a powerful tool for creating and distributing marketing communications to customers and prospective customers. Process of Marketing starts with Planning the Campaign. After this marketing list(s) are attached to the Campaign. Marketing Activities according the Campaign as well as overall budget of Campaign is defined. Execute the campaign by making a call, sending an email or whatever is required for that particular campaign. If a customer responds it is considered as campaign response. After this the Sales Process is followed.

  1. Marketing Lists : Allows you to group accounts, contacts and leads for marketing. You can choose Accounts or Contacts or Leads. It can be of two types:

  1. Static: Enter members manually

  2. Dynamic: Mention criteria or parameters whenever any of the accounts or contacts or leads matches the given criteria they get added in that marketing list.

  1. Campaigns :  Allows you to plan and execute marketing projects. Creation of a campaign follows a process:

  1. Define Campaign details.

  2. Choose marketing list(s).

  3. Create and Run Campaign.

  4. Generate campaign performance which shows how many leads are generated out of a particular campaign.

Other terminologies like Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Products, Sales Literature are same as sales module.
